Florida has great education and career opportunities for those interested in art-related degrees. The Sunshine State has a large number of post-secondary institutions, and its concentration of cities sprinkled among the beautiful Everglades and huge citrus plantations make for interesting material.

Florida is a large state covering many different cultural cross-sections, from the traditional, agriculture-based north and central regions, to the laid-back beach towns of the coast, to the wild cities in the south. The state's museums, galleries, art jobs, and art programs reflect this mix. Some interesting things to check out would be the Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, the Orlando Museum of Art (housing modern, African American, and ancient American art), and the Ringling Bros. Museum in Sarasota.
